** Developing countries: The Futures Conference 2023 is offering a reduced registration fee to residents of developing countries. Countries classified as developing countries for this purpose are those whose economies are listed by the World Bank as “Low income”, “Lower Middle Income”, or “Upper Middle Income” in the World Bank list of economies. https://databank.worldbank.org › data › download › site-content › CLASS. Delegates must be residing, working and be employed in a developing country to qualify for the reduced rate. We will also gladly accept registrations at full rates from residents of these countries who have sufficient resources.

Methods of payment
1) Credit card payment. On the registration form, choose the credit card payment and fill in the payment card details. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*
2) Online bank payment (for Finnish/Nordic banks only). On the registration form, choose your bank, and you will be forwarded to the payment service. Payment service provider Paytrail Plc*
3) E-invoice (for Finnish organisations only). An invoicing fee of 10 EUR will be added. An e-invoice will be sent to the e-invoicing address provided. Terms of payment 14 days net.
4) PDF invoice (payment with bank transfer). An invoicing fee of 15 EUR will be added. A PDF invoice will be sent to your e-mail address after you have submitted your registration. You can also download the PDF invoice to your computer after submitting your registration. Terms of payment: 14 days net.
Please make sure to give a correct invoicing address. An extra invoicing charge of 10 EUR will be added in case a new invoice is processed (revised PDF or e-invoice due to a wrong address, or otherwise modified).
All payments must be made in euros (EUR).
*Paytrail Plc (FI2122839-7) acts as a collecting payment service provider in cooperation
with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc is authorized payment institution.
Paytrail Plc appears as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards
the payment to the event organizer. In case of reclamations, please contact the event organizer.
Invitation Letter
Please note! If you need an invitation letter for visa application, it is a prerequisite that you contact Aboa Congress and Event Services (info@aboaservices.fi) before you make the registration and payment!
Cancellation Policy & Insurance
Cancellation
Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to info@aboaservices.fi before 15 May 2023. No fees will be refunded after this date. A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds.
In the event that the conference must be changed to a fully virtual conference (online only), the difference between the paid fees and the online registration fee will be refunded in full. The liability of the Conference Organiser shall be limited to that refund.
In the event that the conference is entirely cancelled by the Conference Organisers or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the Conference Organisers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the Conference Organiser shall be limited to that refund.
Change of the participant
At any time after registration, in case you will be unable to attend yourself for any reason, you will have the opportunity to send a colleague in your place at no additional cost. In such case, please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible: info@aboaservices.fi
Change from virtual to onsite registration
If you have initially registered as a virtual participant, you will have the opportunity to switch to onsite registration at any time by paying the difference between the virtual participation and onsite fees applicable at the time of change. Insurance
Please note that the conference participants are not covered by any insurance (travel, medical, accident or liability) taken by the Conference Organisers. The Conference Organisers cannot accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by any participant or accompanying person or another person during travel to and from the conference or during the conference. Participants are advised to consider purchasing their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions.
Data Protection
The organiser has instructed Aboa to handle the practical arrangements for the event, and Aboa therefore serves as the personal data processor and processes the personal data in accordance with the attached data protection statement.
